Job Summary
Job Description: Proofreader at GW Inc.
Job Responsibilities:
- Proofread content for spelling grammar punctuation and formatting errors
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in content according to company guidelines
- Review and edit various types of written materials including articles reports and educational resources
- Collaborate with editors writers and other team members to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in proofreading or editing role
- Bachelors degree in English Communications Journalism or related field
- Strong attention to detail and excellent knowledge of grammar and style guidelines
- Proficiency in using proofreading tools and software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desired Experience:
- 2 years of experience in a similar publishing or content development environment
- Experience working with educational institutions publishers or corporations
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices
