Co-Development Business Unit is looking for DevOps Engineer

This is a fixed term contract role. The engagement is 12 months.

StackOps is a cloud-based monitoring tool designed for the Singapore Whole-of Government (WOG) sector. It empowers agencies to leverage Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices for enhanced observability centralized log management data aggregation and visualization and robust security features across their cloud infrastructure and applications. By adopting StackOps government agencies can achieve:

• Streamlined operational processes
• Enhanced cloud security
• Better application performance
• Increased operational efficiency

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the ongoing development maintenance and support of StackOps. You will be responsible for ensuring the platforms scalability performance and security while collaborating with developers operations staff and government agencies.

What will you do

• Participate in the design development and deployment of new features functionalities and maintenance of the StackOps platform.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to manage configurations and integrations for monitoring solutions (E.G. Elastic Cloud AWS Azure GCP and etc)
• Implement and maintain best practices for security scalability and performance of the StackOps platform.
• Proactively identify and implement improvements to enhance the scalability and reliability of the platform
• Provide technical support to government agencies using StackOps including onboarding troubleshooting and configuration guidance.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud technologies and monitoring best practices relevant to StackOps.
• Continuously improve documentation and develop training materials for StackOps users.

What are we looking for

• Proven experience in platform engineering cloud operations or a related field
• Strong understanding of monitoring tools methodologies and configurations management
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g. Ansible Terraform)
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience on OpenTelemetry implementations
• Experience with StackOps or similar monitoring platforms
• Experience working in a government IT environment
• Programming proficiency in languages like NodeJS Python or Go
