About your work

The role of the Pre-Offer Case Manager is to take responsibility for a pipeline of Buy-to-Let cases from Application to Offer. Throughout this process the Case Manager will assist brokers with their application and demonstrate the ability to manage expectations and deadlines whilst providing an excellent service that encourages repeat business.
The role holder will be responsible for compiling the electronic case file and chasing down all outstanding requirements in preparation for Underwriter assessments. They will also be responsible for chasing their pipeline and ensuring that cases are offered as efficiently as addition they will support all new product switch requests.
Attention to detail is key and the job holder must be able to manage time effectively and meet the teams demanding SLAs be proactive and communicate in a professional and friendly manner.

Key responsibilities:

  • Upon receipt of the signed application form the Case manager will set up the electronic file and prepare the application for the Underwriter
  • Ensure valuation payments are taken promptly and accurately
  • Assist brokers with the application process and ensure responses are prompt and professional as well as providing updates at every stage
  • Keep case files and related data fully up to date and 100% accurate
  • Proactively manage your pipeline and chase outstanding tasks
  • Ensure cases are ready for offer at the point when the valuation is received meeting the 14 day SLA
  • Work closely with their underwriter buddy to ensure a quick and smooth application to offer time
  • Ensure there is a seamless handover to Post Offer Case Manager once offer has been signed
  • Support the processing of all new Product Switch requests
  • Maintain and build positive relationships with Brokers and other intermediaries
  • Prepare for and contribute to team meetings and assist with improvement to processes and systems changes

  • Excellent administration computer literacy and communication skills with a good eye for detail
  • Ability to form strong and positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to demonstrate a good understanding of Credit Referencing Agency reports KYC AML and fraud prevention systems
  • Experience of mortgage case management (an advantage)
  • CeMap qualified (an advantage)
