Job Summary
Context
We are experiencing rapid growth following its successful Series B funding round. This expansion phase requires strengthening our technical foundation and scaling our development capabilities to meet increasing market demands.
As we structure our growing team were seeking a Confirmed Python Developer to play a pivotal role in a dynamic environment where they can make a significant impact on both our technology stack and team culture during this exciting growth phase.
Reporting to the Head Of Engineering working together with a strong team spirit and driven by the confidence that Veesion is on track to revolutionize the retail industry.
Your Mission:
- Design implement and maintain robust and scalable architectures.
- Align to best coding practices performing rigorous code reviews and encouraging other developers.
- Be involved in decision-making processes and effectively communicate technical choices to the team.
- Participate in team alignment by defending ideas and fostering a strong technical culture.
- Work hands-on with Python to develop high-performance applications.
- Optimize and architect database solutions using PostgreSQL including SQL query optimization.
Youre a Great Match If:
- You have a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software development.
- You have a good proficiency in Python.
- You have a good understanding of database architectures particularly PostgreSQL.
- You are comfortable designing SQL queries and optimizing database performance.
- You know how to follow and advocate for best practices and inspire developers to follow them.

- Technical Test complete a take-home challenge (4h max).
- Restitution - review your solution with our team (1h15).
- Onsite cultural interview with Pierre our CTO and other colleagues (1h00).
