Job Summary

Job Description - Fiserv DNA Developer Key Responsibilities

Custom Development on DNA Platform
- Develop test and document software based on customer / client specifications using Fiserv DNAs architecture.
- Build custom modules for banking functionality (e.g. account holds transaction reversals) within the DNA core.
- Use DNAs SDK or development toolkit (DNAcreator) to build DNAapps - custom applications that extend or enhance DNA capabilities.
API Integration & Workflow Engineering
- Integrate with DNAs API layer: use prebuilt APIs for banking services (accounting transactions etc.) to build front-end or backend modules.
- Implement workflow-based logic using DNAs workflow engine (for things like automation of complaint processes transaction flows).
- Ensure secure consumption of APIs especially when integrating across multiple service channels (mobile back-office teller).
Database / PL-SQL Development
- Strong usage of PL/SQL is common: writing stored procedures functions triggers handling exception logic etc.
- Working with Oracle database (or similar relational DB) management and performance tuning.
- SQL tuning optimization working with explain plans AWRs etc. may be required.
Testing & Validation
- Unit testing of the developed modules.
- Participate in quality assurance / user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the software meets business needs.
- For DNA implementation roles (especially in Professional Services) test new features / functionality during project rollouts.
