Position Title: Project Manager
Location: Washington DC Metropolitan Area (Hybrid Virtual/In-Person Support)
Contract Type: Federal ETA/WIOA/FACA Meeting & Events Support
Position Overview
The Project Manager supports the execution of ETAs meeting and event logistics contract by managing day-to-day project activities timelines deliverables and staff assignments. The Project Manager ensures operational excellence for virtual and in-person convenings webinars trainings and FACA advisory committee meetings.
This position requires expertise in workforce development systems technical assistance federal meeting requirements and project coordination. The Project Manager also contributes to analysis reporting compliance event evaluation and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Oversight
- Provide direction to logistics coordinators SMEs event specialists and technical staff.
- Assign responsibilities oversee task execution and ensure teams meet quality and schedule expectations.
Project & Contract Execution
- Interpret work requirements and ensure responsiveness to DOL task orders.
- Manage project schedules track progress monitor budgets and ensure deliverables are completed on time.
- Support coordination of events ranging from 5 to 2000 participants in both virtual and in-person settings.
- Ensure contractor personnel identify themselves properly per Section 1.6.12.
Analysis & Evaluation
- Support analysis and evaluation of meeting objectives outputs and outcomes.
- Identify improvements to event logistics training delivery technical assistance and stakeholder engagement.
- Conduct assessments to ensure events align with ETA policy performance goals and strategic priorities.
Compliance & Reporting
- Prepare internal and client-facing status reports ensuring all reports are fully Section 508 compliant.
- Ensure adherence to federal requirements including FACA rules WIOA implementation guidance accessibility standards and security protocols.
Stakeholder & SME Coordination
- Assist with identification scheduling and coordination of subject matter experts for workforce system technical assistance.
- Maintain communication with ETA program offices grantees state/local workforce areas and partner agencies.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree preferred (or equivalent high-level SME credentials).
- 6 years of relevant professional experience including project management workforce development programs event logistics or technical assistance delivery.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing and evaluating program goals and implementing improvements.
- Strong understanding of WIOA apprenticeship programs public workforce system policies and federal event requirements.
- Proven ability to manage schedules delegate tasks track performance and monitor budgets.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce 508-compliant reports.
