Role: Senior Analyst - Workforce Planning
Job purpose:
Arthur J. Gallagher is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analyst in Workforce Planning with expertise in forecasting to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing workforce operations ensuring efficient resource allocation and delivering accurate forecasting models to support business objectives. This position requires a strong analytical mindset proficiency in WFM tools and the ability to collaborate across departments to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forecasting and Analysis
- Develop and maintain accurate forecasting models to predict workload staffing needs and resource requirements.
- Analyze historical data trends and business drivers to create actionable insights for workforce planning.
- Provide recommendations to improve forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Workforce Planning
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement workforce strategies that align with business goals.
- Monitor and adjust staffing plans based on real-time data and changing business needs.
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and performance targets.
- Reporting & Metrics
- Generate and present detailed reports on workforce performance forecasting accuracy and operational metrics.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress against goals.
- Provide actionable insights to leadership for decision-making.
- Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements within workforce management and forecasting functions.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead initiatives to automate and streamline WFM processes.
Qualification:
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in workforce management with a focus on forecasting and analytics.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing forecasting models in a corporate environment.
Soft skills / Competencies:
- Ability to take initiative
- Flexible team player with a positive attitude
- Must have good time management with the ability to work with minimal supervision and under tight timelines
- Capable of managing multiple simultaneous projects
- Must be friendly and professional with a positive attitude
- Organized with the ability to quickly and effectively adapt to change
- Able to communicate professionally - oral and written
