Sales Director (FMCG)

Qualifications / Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing / Business

Strong competitive and well-aligned Sales Management experience with proven performance in negotiating and closing deals (handling from cradle to grave) and leading a team to success

FMCG industry experience essential

Confident extrovert with exceptional networking and relationship-building skills

Valid drivers license

Highly competitive dynamic resilient and articulate with strong negotiating ability

Key Performance Areas

Lead mentor and drive the sales team to achieve volumes targets margins and all key sales deliverables

Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities (mergers and acquisitions)

Manage and engage key customer accounts

Provide input on product branding sizing and market alignment

Represent the business at expos conferences and industry events

Present comprehensive sales reports and insights at Director-level meetings

Support supplier and customer relationship management

Manage Sales financials (stats GP budgets forecasts)
