We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Lodge Manager to support the Lodge Manager in overseeing daily lodge activities ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of staff management procurement and customer service. The ideal candidate will be passionate about safari guest satisfaction and team leadership with a proven track record in hospitality management within a luxury safari lodge environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Lodge Manager in overseeing daily lodge operations ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Manage and motivate the lodge staff fostering a positive team-oriented working environment while maintaining high standards of professionalism and guest care. Conduct weekly staff meetings.
- Ensure exceptional guest service addressing guest needs promptly and personally to create memorable safari experiences.
- Oversee procurement processes including inventory management stock ordering and supplier relationships to ensure quality cost efficiency and sustainability.
- Coordinate and supervise housekeeping food and beverage guides and other departments to uphold standards of excellence and safety.
- Maintain strict health and safety protocols ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
- Assist with budget management and financial reporting including controlling costs and maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues swiftly to enhance overall satisfaction and loyalty.
- Support training and development initiatives for staff to promote ongoing service excellence and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with management to implement new initiatives that enhance the lodges reputation and guest experience
