Role Overview
The Vehicle Electrician will diagnose repair and maintain electrical and electronic systems in commercial buses. The role requires strong technical expertise hands-on experience and the ability to supervise semi-skilled technicians.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair electrical/electronic faults in commercial buses.
Perform maintenance servicing and repair tasks on vehicle electrical systems.
Ensure all repairs comply with ISO standards and government safety guidelines.
Operate diagnostic tools and interpret electrical diagrams.
Carry out specialized AC system work (advantage).
Maintain accurate technical and service records.
Supervise and guide semi-skilled technicians.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering (Masters preferred).
Vocational training (ITI or equivalent) with relevant experience may be considered.
Minimum 3 years of workshop experience.
Experience with heavy vehicles (buses/trucks).
Mandatory: Familiarity with Euro 6 engines and use of diagnostic tools.
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams/circuits.
Basic computer literacy (MS Office).
Language: English (minimum B2); Greek/Spanish an advantage.
Age: 18 to <45 years.

Gross Annual Salary:(based on skills/experience).
13 salaries per year (12 monthly Christmas bonus).

Overtime Pay:
Shift Allowance: 5% for work after 2 PM.
Working Hours: 40 hours/week (38 hours basic 2 hours overtime).
Working Days: 5 out of 7.
Accommodation: Private room in shared apartment (up to 25% salary deduction).
Utilities & Cleaning: Included (fair usage).
Transportation: Free monthly bus card (Nicosia district).
Medical Coverage: Basic coverage as per CY laws (employee contribution 2.6%).
Provident Fund: After 6 months employer contributes 6%; employee may contribute 615%.
Food: Not provided.
