The Role
We are currently seeking enthusiastic proactive highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurses with experience in an acute care setting to join our dynamic Cardiac/Angiography Recovery unit where team work is paramount. You will join a workforce of nursing professionals to care for patients after surgery.
In this role youll play a vital part in patient recovery after life-changing cardiac procedures working alongside a team of passionate professionals:
- To provide customer focused holistic nursing care
- Deliver evidence based nursing care
- Maintain effective communication within the multi-disciplinary team
- Ensure ongoing patient care and staff safety
- Engage in a positive team culture
What youll need to succeed
Essential qualities:
- Current Registration with AHPRA - Registered Nurse
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Recovery nursing
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Works well independently and within a team
- Intermediatecomputer skills
Desirable qualities
- Post graduate certificate in Recovery or working towards
- Cardiac/Cath Lab experience
