Registered Nurse Memory Care (Part Time)

Join our compassionate team at Boulcott Memory Care Centre where we deliver high-quality resident-directed care for people living with dementia. Our secure specialist environment supports safety while promoting a fulfilling and enjoyable lifestyle with each residents quality of life at the heart of everything we do. Our care is resident-directedmeaning we tailor care and support to each individuals preferences values and needs.

Typical duties include:

• Supporting residents with activities of daily living
• Co-creating personalised care plans 
• Leading and delegating care provision to caregivers and support staff
• Ensuring timely delivery of care and support
• Monitoring and evaluating progress in partnership with the resident and their chosen representatives 
• Building trusted therapeutic relationships with residents and their whānau

This is a part-time role working Sunday & Monday AM shifts.

Qualifications :

As an experienced Registered Nurse you will be seeking a rewarding role and feel motivated by enhancing residents lives.

Youll bring with you:

• Experience in a memory care unit or dementia residence 
• A NZ Registration and a current Practicing Certificate
• A genuine interest in working with older people and an understanding of clinical services as they are delivered in a retirement village
• Demonstrated ability to take the lead remain calm under pressure and be emotionally resilient
• Good communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people from residents families and your colleagues
