Job Summary
At Home Instead we know how important it is for people in our local community to live where they feel most comfortable - at home. We are looking for caring compassionate individuals to help us support others to stay independent in their own home in Matlock and Ashbourne.
We have shift options between 7am - 10pm with alternate weekends required.
We match our Care Professionals and clients together so memorable connections can be established. All initial calls with a client who is new to you will be introductions with the support of another colleague so you can really get to know your client and their needs.

Responsibilities as a Care Assistant:
- Support with personal care tasks such as toileting and showering.
- Perform household tasks such as light cleaning and tidying.
- Respond to your clients needs.
- Ensure transparent communication with clients and loved ones offering first-rate care and comfort.
- Write accurate daily notes keeping up strong communication with the office.
- Administer medication and record appropriately.
Requirements:
- You must be reliable and punctual to ensure we can continue to provide an excellent service to our clients.
- Must be happy to visit clients in all the areas listed.
- Must have a caring friendly personality.
- You must have a drivers licence and access to your own vehicle.
