An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in Tissue Viability to join the skilled team at our clients site in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist knowledge advice clinical skills and expertise in the treatment and management of women and children specialising in skin conditions and treating complex post-surgical patients.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide expert guidance and ongoing support to nursing teams involved in tissue viability care
Lead and coordinate all aspects of patient care maintaining the best interests of patients and families
Act as an advocate for patients undergoing dermatology treatment
Develop patient clinical pathways for investigation and treatment of skin conditions
Take responsibility for assessment care planning and setting standards for Dermatology/Tissue Viability patients
Play an integral role in training education and development of nursing teams
Focus on pressure ulcer prevention
Qualifications & Experience Required
Childrens Nursing Qualification RN Child or RSCN with valid NMC registration (Adult NMC considered with relevant Paediatric experience)
Desirable: relevant qualification and substantial experience in Tissue Viability
Basic/Intermediate Paediatric Life Support
Level 3 Safeguarding qualification
