About the Role
In this role you will bea keypart of Gembas Data & Analytics team and will collaborate closely with Gembas Strategy and Insights teams to execute high quality client projects through efficient and effective practices.
Data & Analytics at Gemba is more than dashboards and reports. It is about helping clients unlock the full potential of their data through cutting-edge tools tailored solutions and actionable insights. Youll play a pivotal role in driving organisational change building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and contributing to thought leadership in the sports and entertainment industry.
This role isa great opportunityto take on responsibility for driving organisational change and developing strong relationships with senior level stakeholders. As well as contributing to thought leadership in the sports and entertainment industry through innovative approaches to customer data and 1stparty analytics.
You willbe responsible forconducting data audits and develop data strategies for our clients to achieve their data-driven your technical and analytical skills to work with a variety of datasourcesto streamline processes build robust data solutions and implement best practice analytics that drive commercial outcomes for our clients. Youll also contribute to data modelling as part of building predictive and performance analytics alongside visualising data and uncovering insights that inspire action and impact.
You will be expected to work with senior stakeholders at our clients and sostrong communicationboth written and verbal is important in this role.
About You
This role requires a Data/Business Analyst with 5 years of experience ideally with a strong interest in sport and a focus on best-practice analytics and business intelligence solutions.
Youll bring technical depth in Python and SQL with hands-on experience across cloud technologies such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Azure or AWS. Experience with cloud-based data stores orchestration tools and analysis services will be highly regarded.
As this is a client-facing role experience in consulting or a professional services environment is desirable. Youll also have a strong grasp of business principles and hold tertiary qualifications in economics marketing computer science statistics engineering or a related field.
