The Position:
- Assisting the Food & Beverage Manager with day-to-day operations across our outlets with the focus on the well renowned Garden Restaurant
- Assist in coordinating the front of house teams daily operations
- Lead the team to deliver exceptional prompt and friendly service
- Lead from the front mentor and train the team ensuring a fun and energetic working environment
- Optimise team members rostered to increase revenue and productivity
- Address any guest feedback in a timely manner to ensure everyone has the best experience possible
- Consistently follow safety guidelines when performing tasks or using equipment reporting all hazards near misses or accidents to appropriate personnel
The Person:
- Demonstrated previous experience in a similar restaurant/retail environment
- Experienced as a Host in a similar environment
- Experience leading a team identify opportunities for improvement train and develop staff
- Good knowledge of Melbourne food and beverage scene
- Excellent communication skills ability to confidently lead team briefing sessions with up to 12 team members
- Experience with an online booking system ensuring table and coordinating guests
- Well-groomed and professional in appearance with attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and can do attitude
- Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
