About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager / Project Sponsor to lead and oversee complex projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management a deep understanding of project management methodologies (VPMM) and the ability to act as a thought leader in specialized project areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate project progress and outcomes in relation to the Business Case.
- Serve as Chairperson of the Project Steering Committee.
- Support and challenge the definition of project deliverables and cost drivers.
- Prepare assessments for TG (Tollgate) decisions and recommend or take TG decisions where delegated.
- Manage project documentation and financial decision-making materials.
- Oversee critical project interfaces including internal and external stakeholders and suppliers.
- Ensure stakeholder needs and requirements are identified and addressed.
- Confirm that the project has adequate resources and funding.
- Monitor project development risks and performance.
- Provide clear decision-making materials to PRB and ensure compliance with PRB decisions.
- Collaborate with the Project Steering Committee to review and implement recommendations from PAR assessments.
- Approve necessary changes to project scope budget schedule and quality within approved boundaries defined in the PIN.
- Confirm project closure.
Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent in IT or related field.
- IPMA B knowledge/certification.
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience including at least 5 years in senior leadership roles for complex projects.
- In-depth knowledge of VPMM methodology.
- Expertise in more than one specialized field; recognized as a thought leader in at least one area.
- Experience quality-assuring more than 5 projects/programs.
- Fluent in Swedish and English.
