We are recruiting a dedicated Teacher of Maths to join an inclusive 1116 secondary school in Essex rated Ofsted Good. The role starts in January 2026 and is a permanent post open to full-time and part-time applicants with the possibility of a TLR for the right candidate.

The Role

Position: Teacher of Maths
Location: Essex
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time Considered
TLR: Available for Numeracy / KS3 or KS4 Leadership (for the right candidate)

As our Maths Teacher you will:

• Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4 with the potential for KS5 if appropriate.
• Deliver an engaging well-structured curriculum that builds fluency reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Assess learning regularly and plan next steps to secure progress for all learners.
• Create a positive supportive classroom environment where students feel confident to take risks and challenge themselves.
• Contribute to intervention revision sessions and whole-school numeracy initiatives.
• (If applicable) Take on responsibility for a key stage or area of curriculum development.

What Were Looking For

We welcome applicants who:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4.
• Are confident with the UK Maths curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Are reflective organised and committed to continuous improvement.
• Communicate clearly with students colleagues and parents.
• Are open to leadership responsibilities if applying for a TLR.
