The Role
Position: Teacher of Maths
Location: Essex
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time Considered
TLR: Available for Numeracy / KS3 or KS4 Leadership (for the right candidate)
As our Maths Teacher you will:
- Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4 with the potential for KS5 if appropriate.
- Deliver an engaging well-structured curriculum that builds fluency reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Assess learning regularly and plan next steps to secure progress for all learners.
- Create a positive supportive classroom environment where students feel confident to take risks and challenge themselves.
- Contribute to intervention revision sessions and whole-school numeracy initiatives.
- (If applicable) Take on responsibility for a key stage or area of curriculum development.
What Were Looking For
We welcome applicants who:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4.
- Are confident with the UK Maths curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Are reflective organised and committed to continuous improvement.

- Are open to leadership responsibilities if applying for a TLR.
