Were seeking a hands-on QA Analyst Automation to ensure the delivery of high-quality banking and financial applications. Youll validate end-to-end business workflows collaborate with product and engineering teams and uphold compliance and audit readiness in an exciting and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Design develop and execute test plans test cases and automation scripts for functional regression and integration testing.
- Perform manual testing and build/maintain automation suites.
- Test REST APIs and microservices; validate responses contracts and data.
- Log track and close defects using standard bug-tracking tools and drive root-cause discussions.
- Participate in requirement analysis impact assessment and sprint ceremonies.
- Validate data using SQL and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT); publish test reports and release sign-off.
- Maintain QA artifacts for audit and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- 2 years in software testing (QA) for enterprise applications.
- Strong grasp of SDLC STLC QA methodologies tools and processes.
- Proven experience in writing clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on with manual testing and test automation (Selenium / PyTest / Robot Framework; Cypress or Playwright is a plus).
- API testing experience using Postman/Swagger; familiarity with Rest Assured preferred.
- Basic SQL skills and database familiarity (PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle).
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and use of tools like Jira TestLink or similar.
- Solid analytical thinking documentation and communication skills.
- Nice to have: Performance testing exposure (JMeter/Gatling).
- Bonus: Programming knowledge in Java/Python/JavaScript for automation.
- Certification: ISTQB (or equivalent) preferred.
- Domain: Banking/Financial services exposure is an advantage.
