Were looking for Senior Full Stack Engineers with deep experience in Java and Python and strong frontend skills in and . Youll be joining a highgrowth fintech scaleup thats building the next generation of payment infrastructure across Africa.

WHAT YOU WILL BE BUILDING

Merchant on-boarding flows that are smooth as butter
Secure login and user management features
Internal dashboards for ops teams to get stuff done
Transaction listings and logs that make sense
Scalable backend services using TypeScript React AWS Lambda

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Work on missioncritical systems that power real businesses
Be part of a highperformance diverse team in a startup setting
Drive process improvements and take ownership across multiple areas
Collaborate inoffice with product compliance and ops teams
Help shape the future of digital payments in Africa

OUR REQUIRED EXPERTISE

TechnicalExpertise:

8 years of engineering experience - tried and tested knowledge
Solid skills in knowledge of Java and Python will serve you well
Frontend expertise in React TypeScript and Vanilla JavaScript
Payments or banking experience (bonus points!)
AWS (Lambda API Gateway Serverless)
SQL fluency (MySQL PostgreSQL)

ProblemSolving & Ownership:

Ability to design elegant scalable solutions for new features
Skilled at iteratively maintaining and evolving existing features to modern standards
Takes initiative owns projects endtoend and thrives in a fastpaced highscale environment

Collaboration & Communication:

Works well in a startup team with strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Comfortable working crossfunctionally with product operations and externalpartners
