Job Summary

RPO Recruitments client in the Mining Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Senior Instrument Technician in North West.

Responsibilities:

Minimize shutdown time by planning and controlling allocated tasks as requested by the engineering manager
Participate in investigating and taking corrective actions in the event of instrument failures and/incidents
Ensure that LMDC safety policy is applies by executing scheduled plant inspections
Ensure installation and maintenance of plant control systems
Provide input to project coordinators in terms of control system requirements
Implement appropriate technological control solutions to ensure optimal process control efficiency
Ensure that control installations are configured according to appropriate standards and procedures

Requirements:

Grade 12
National Technical Diploma in Engineering
Registered as a Professional Engineering Technician with ECSA
Instrument mechanician trade test certificate
6 - 8 years experience in a plant mining environment

Benefits:

Salary: R700K/yr - R900K/yr salary negotiable
