Job Summary

Position: Accountant (Up to 40K)

Schedule: Monday to Friday 7 AM 4 PM (PH Time)

Work setup: WFH Set-up

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant with UAE accounting experience to manage receivable transactions bank reconciliations customer accounts accruals and other general accounting duties. The role also provides support in cash flow forecasting VAT returns and Intercompany transactions.


This role requires someone with good organizational skills a willingness to learn and the ability to work accurately with daily financial data.


In this role you will:


Accounts Receivable Management

  • Record and maintain all customer invoices in the accounting system.
  • Verify reconcile and monitor all customer accounts.
  • Follow up on outstanding balances as required.


Bank & General Ledger Reconciliations

  • Prepare and manage bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
  • Record monthly accruals and other necessary adjustments in general ledger.
  • Cash flow VAT & Reporting Support
  • Assist in the preparation of weekly cash flow reports.
  • Support the preparation and filing of VAT returns.

Intercompany & Treasury Coordination

  • Coordinate with the group finance team regarding fund transfers and cash injections.
  • Maintain Intercompany records under the supervision of the line manager.


Other Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the finance team and perform additional tasks as assigned.



Requirements

Were Looking for Someone Who has:

  • Bachelors in accounting technology / accountancy or other related courses.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in accounting and financial work.
  • Experience in vendor account creation statement reconciliation and vendor ageing analysis.
  • Procurement experience is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of UAE VAT rules and related statutory requirements.


Technical Skills:

  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel Word Outlook PowerPoint) and MIS reporting capability.

  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal/negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team with flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
