Job Summary
Seeking a Certified Special Education Professional!
We are currently looking for an experienced and compassionate Special Education Teacher to become an integral part of our instructional this position you will empower students with diverse learning profiles by providing the strategies encouragement and tailored support they need to develop academically and socially.
Youll collaborate closely with educators administrators and families to create and implement IEPs that reflect each students learning style growth objectives and support requirements. This role relies heavily on teamwork and communication ensuring each learner receives consistent coordinated student-centered support across all instructional settings.
As a champion for students with exceptional learning needs you will foster a classroom environment rooted in respect inclusion and encouragementhelping students build confidence independence and a strong sense of belonging. Additionally you will apply proactive behavior supports and structured interventions that promote emotional regulation skill development and behavioral success.
Requirements
A bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field is required while a masters degree is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to student-centered learning and inclusive education practices. An active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement is required for this position.
