An Exciting opportunity to join the Leadership team at Boliden Tara Mines. Tara Mines operates one of Europes largest Underground Zinc Mine at Navan Ireland. Tara Mines is a member of the Boliden Group a leading metals company with operations in Sweden Finland Norway and Ireland.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Sustainability Manager this is a senior leadership role with responsible for overseeing the delivery of multiple projects from planning through to completion. You will manage contracts lead project teams and ensure that all works are delivered safely on time and within budgetwhile maintaining strong relationships with workstream owners consultants and stakeholders.
Experience and Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
Experience of working in a regulated industry.
Third Level Qualification in Science Engineering or related discipline is desirable.
Advanced competency in MS Project and MS office suite.
Previous Experience of people management is an advantage
Skills and Capabilities:
Work effectively as a senior Project Manager building strong relationships across the organisation operating in a flexible and collaborative manner.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Education knowledge and skills required for this position.
Knowledge of the mining industry/ heavy industry.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong analytical ability with a logical approach to problem solving and sound judgement.
Dynamic with a natural focus on the big picture combined with strong attention to detail.
Proactive with a can-do approach and the ability to organise and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.

Additional Info:
This role will be full-time 5 days a week Mon- Friday 08:00- 16:30
