Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced FX Specialist to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Manage and execute foreign exchange transactions ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor FX market trends and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
- Develop and implement FX risk management strategies to mitigate exposure.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize FX operations and align with business objectives.
- Maintain relationships with financial institutions and counterparties to ensure efficient execution of FX trades.
- Prepare detailed reports and analysis on FX performance and market conditions.
- Stay updated on global economic developments and their potential impact on FX markets.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance Economics or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g. CFA FRM) is a plus.
- Proven experience in FX trading risk management or a similar role within the financial sector.
- Strong understanding of FX markets instruments and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Day-to-day
- Execute FX trades and ensure timely settlement of transactions.
- Analyze market data to identify opportunities and risks in FX markets.
- Communicate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate FX operations.
- Prepare and present reports on FX activities and market insights to senior management.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Continuously evaluate and improve FX processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
