Role: Mill Process Operator

An excellent opportunity has arisen within the company for a Mill Process Operator.
The Mill Process Operator will report to the Mill Shift Supervisor and working within a team participates in all aspects of daily operational requirements in the Mill to ensure EHSQ standards are maintained and processing KPIs are achieved.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Comply with all safety systems and requirements to ensure your own safety and the safety of others.
Perform operational tasks and checks to ensure steady plant operation.
Use of electronic systems for recording and reporting on plant performance and maintenance.
Assisting plant maintenance team by performing preparation works
Liaising with other operational and maintenance work groups to ensure good handover of operational or maintenance information
Experience and Qualifications:
Operational or maintenance heavy industry experience.
Leaving certificate or equivalent.
Scaffolding qualification is an advantage
CSCS licence(s) for heavy mobile equipment preferred but not essential
Skills and Capabilities:
Strong interpersonal skills.
Problem solving skills
Good communication skills with verbal written and computer skills
Effective team player along with the ability to work under ones own initiative.
The candidate must have the ability to promote the Boliden Core Values in all aspects of their role.
Analytical and creative thinking skills
Flexible approach to work
Willingness to promote continuous improvements within the company.
Additional Info:
This role will be full time and will work off a 4-cycle roster of 12-hour shifts (start times 07:30 and 19:30) Mon-Sun
There will be a degree of flexibility required as part of this role in line with operational requirements.
