Job description
Role:Legal Associate
Location:Gurgaon (Head Office)About the Role
We are looking for a high-energy high-IQ optimistic professional with a bias for action who can be an integral part of Legal teamJob Description
1. Drafting & Documentation- Draft review and vet various contracts and agreements (including maintenance agreements vendor contracts customer documents undertakings affidavits etc.).
- Prepare replies notices legal letters and internal notes.
- Assist in standardizing and updating contract templates.
2. Litigation Management
- Coordinate with external counsels for all ongoing litigation.
- Compile and prepare documentation for court matters arbitrations and regulatory filings.
- Maintain litigation tracker hearing updates and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Support in drafting preliminary pleadings responses and case briefs.
3. Inter-Department Coordination
- Liaise with business approvals finance CRM project and site teams for information required for drafting litigation and compliance.
- Ensure smooth and timely flow of documents and approvals between departments.
- Provide legal clarifications to internal teams where required.
4. Research & Compliance Support
- Conduct legal research on real estate RERA land environmental and other applicable laws.
- Assist in updating internal legal guidelines and policies.
- Support the site approval team with drafting application filings and query responses wherever required.
5. Documentation & Database Management
- Maintain organized databases for contracts approvals legal opinions and litigation records.
- Track statutory and project-specific approvals and follow-ups.
Required Skills:
- Should have pursued a BA LLB or an equivalent course (whether 5 years or 3 years) from a reputed university.
- Should have had prior internship experience and work experience preferably.
- Good drafting research and communication skills
