What you can expect with this role

  • Drive safe water delivery by supporting regional implementation of our Drinking Water Quality Framework from catchment to supply.
  • Lead monitoring programs to ensure every drop meets the highest drinking water standards.
  • Investigate and improve water quality through site inspections strategy reviews safety plan development and audits.
  • Contribute to compliance by supporting water resource licensing and deploying regional management strategies.
  • Ensure accountability through non-compliance checks reporting and operationalising licence requirements.
  • Build strong partnerships with internal teams regulators and government agencies to protect community health.

Your skills and experience

For this role we are looking for great talent with:

  • Qualified professional with a degree in environmental science engineering or related discipline and experience in drinking water and catchment management.
  • Alternatively tertiary qualifications paired with extensive experience in water quality and catchment management.
  • Strong understanding of Australian Drinking Water Guidelines and their application.
  • Proven ability in process management problem-solving and delivering practical solutions.
  • Knowledgeable in risk assessment and incident management processes to ensure safe water outcomes.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge

  • Hands-on experience applying quality management systems to deliver reliable outcomes.
  • Background in water operations or natural resource management ensuring sustainable practices.
  • Proven ability to mentor and train others fostering growth and knowledge within the team.
