The University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) is looking for part-time help to assist with our athletic fields: Annenberg (Soccer) Easton (Softball) Jackie Robinson Field (Baseball) and Spaulding (Football) will be the sites this position will work at on a daily basis. This position is only allowed to work up to 17.5-19 hours per week and 1000 hours per year on a rolling basis. The hourly rate is as follows: Students: $17.90 Non-students: $22.84
Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the Director of Athletic Grounds the groundskeeper will provide the following services:
Fill divots
Pick-up Trash
Use backpack blowers
Assisting with field painting
Fuel up equipment
Clean equipment
Perform other jobs as needed
Qualifications
Must have a valid California Drivers license
Ability to lift objects weighing 50 to 75 pounds
Operate small equipment e.g. (backpack blowers and weedwhackers)
Operate Gators or small utility vehicles
