Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment at a reputable healthcare facility in Cincinnati OH. The technologist will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while prioritizing patient safety comfort and accurate clinical results. Flexibility is essential as floating between departments may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general radiographic procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
Ensure proper patient positioning to achieve optimal imaging quality.
Operate imaging equipment including X-ray machines and image printers safely and effectively.
Follow sterile and isolation technique protocols to maintain patient and staff safety.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in imaging systems.
Communicate effectively with physicians nurses and other healthcare staff.
Assist in maintaining equipment and reporting technical issues promptly.
Provide excellent patient care and support throughout imaging procedures.

Requirements:

Graduation from an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program (Required)
ARRT Certification (Required)
BLS (AHA) certification (Required)
Strong knowledge of medical terminology sterile techniques and isolation procedures
Proficiency in patient positioning and operation of radiology equipment
