TheGlobal Risk andTreasuryTechnologyteam provides development and support services for Group Treasury (includingStructural Interest Rate Risk management Asset/Liability Management Funds Transfer PricingLiquidity RiskStress Testing) and Global Risk Management (Global Retail/Corporate/CommercialCredit RiskCounterparty CreditRisk Operational/Non-Operational RiskManagement).

The Role

We are seeking aPlatform Engineerwith foundational experience inMicrosoft technologiesand a strong interest incloud integration and automation.

• This role will support the deployment and maintenance of Windows-based infrastructureassistin integrating vendor solutions hosted inMicrosoft Azure and contribute to automation efforts usingshell scripting and Python.
• Exposure toQRMor similar financial risk platforms is a strong ideal candidate will have a strong background inautomation using shell scripts and Python.
• Experience working in amajor Canadian financial institutionis highly preferred.You willberequiredtoparticipatein multiple projectsincludingtechnical design use cases and process workflow of complex business processes for internal clients.
• Youmustpossessthe ability to work with a team oftechnology focusedpeers and the ability to juggle multiple/concurrent tasks.
• You mustthrive onchallenge be proactivedynamicanddemonstrateinitiative and eagerness to learn.

Is this role right for you In this role you will:

• Assistin the configuration and support of Windows Server environments SQL Server instances and HPC clusters.
• Support integration efforts between on-premises infrastructure and vendor-hosted solutions in Azure including networking and identity components.
• Contribute to automation tasks using PowerShell Bash and Python for system provisioning patching and monitoring.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot platform issues and implement performance improvements.
• Participate in documentation of infrastructure configurations operational procedures and automation scripts.
• Support platform operations for financial systems including risk and treasury applications.
• Learn and contribute to projects involving QRM or similar financial modeling platforms.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role

Wedlove to work with you if you have

• 12 years of experience in platform or infrastructure support roles (internships or co-op experience welcome).
• Basic knowledge ofWindows ServerSQL Server and enterprise IT environments.
• Exposure toMicrosoft Azureservices and cloud integration concepts.
• Experience or coursework inshell scripting(PowerShell Bash) andPython.
• Strong interest in financial systems and infrastructure reliability.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative engineering environment.
