Job Summary
Job Title: Speech Therapist
Location: Anchorage AK
Type: Contract
Pay Rate: From $49/hr
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Speech Therapist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Anchorage AK.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients with speech language cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments
Provide therapy to improve communication skills swallowing safety and cognitive functioning
Document evaluations progress notes and treatment outcomes according to facility standards
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care
Educate patients caregivers and families on therapy techniques and strategies
Adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and clinical observations
Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Alaska
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Minimum 12 years of experience in skilled nursing rehabilitation or post-acute care settings preferred
Strong communication interpersonal and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a clinical team
