Position Highlights:
Position: Insurance Representative I
Location: Skokie IL
Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
What you will do:
- Initial collection activities related to the insurance balance on hospital accounts.
- Ensure correct payment received based on expected reimbursement
- Reviews and analyzes all required demographic insurance/financial and clinical data procured by patient intake and registration areas necessary to expedite payment on patients accounts
- Performs pre-certification notification via telephone or electronically and gathers and completes all required documentation for submission to insurance carriers per payer requirements.
What you will need:
- Education: High School Graduate required 2yrs post high school or degree preferred
- Experience: Initial collection on claims for all payers (government and Managed care payers
- Skills: Computer keyboarding Epic math skill understanding of Cpts UB preferred effective communicator and analytical
