The Opportunity
Working as part of a supportive and collegial paediatric team you will provide specialist care across inpatient outpatient emergency and neonatal settings. You will also deliver outreach services to surrounding regional and remote communitiesensuring equitable access to paediatric healthcare for families who need it most.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality care to paediatric and neonatal patients
Participate in on-call roster providing acute and emergency support
Lead and mentor junior doctors and contribute to their professional development
Support service improvement governance and clinical innovation
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across the region
Provide outreach clinics to surrounding regional and remote communities
Uphold culturally safe equitable care for Aboriginal children and families
About You
You are a consultant paediatrician who brings:
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Paediatrics or equivalent
- AHPRA Specialist Registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong expertise in acute and chronic paediatric medicine
- Experience and interest in neonatal care developmental paediatrics and community health
- A supportive leadership style with a passion for teaching supervising and mentoring junior doctors
- Resilience adaptability and confidence in managing complex or remote-care scenarios
- A commitment to improving health outcomes for First Nations children
- Enthusiasm for regional practice and the lifestyle benefits it offers
