Position Summary:
The Anesthesia Credentialing and Support Services Coordinator ensures anesthetists meet all facility and regulatory requirements by managing credentialing processes verifying documentation and maintaining accurate position serves as the primary liaison for ambulatory service center credentialing coordinating with the Credentialing Verification Office (CVO) Medical Staff Office (MSO) and other stakeholders. The role also provides secondary operational and administrative support for the anesthesia service line.
Minimum Education:
None specified; will accept any combination of formal education and/or prior work experience sufficient to demonstrate possession of the knowledge skill and ability needed to perform the essential tasks of the job typically such as would be equivalent to a high school diploma or GED. Preference may be given to individuals possessing a HS diploma or GED.
Minimum Experience:
Five (5) years of experience in a healthcare environment with credentialing responsibilities; knowledgeable with Joint Commission and NCQA standards.
