20 hours per week - Schedule will vary depending on students class schedule.Looking to hire for December for training but this is a Spring 2026 hire!

Position Summary

Support operations of the Career Services Center. Delivering exceptional customer service to employees students and all visitors by creating a pleasant and welcoming experience.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

- Provide front-office support for the Career Center; greeting welcoming directing and assisting internal and external customers including students alumni and community members
- Perform an array of tasks supporting services provided by the department including scheduling appointments working with the Hire a Scot platform and assisting with resume reviews
- Assist with updating and maintaining the job postings announcements event information career tips etc. presented on the Career Centers digital display (PowerPoint presentation)
- Assist with event prep setup cleanup etc.
- Excellent English communication skills
- Position may require some bending stretching and pushing or lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to sit walk and stand up to 4 hours
- Ability to use Microsoft Office products
- Ability to use office equipment (fax copier etc)

Required Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Background Check
- Completion of New Employee Training
- Must be currently enrolled in at least 3 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above (if first semester student GPA requirement is waived)
- If student qualifies for Federal Work Study the student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds
