Job Summary
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Senior Retail Operations Advisor HABS on a permanent basis on our Home and Building Solutions (HABS) team.
This position is a hybrid opportunity and can be based in Saskatoon SK or Regina SK. Although you will not be required to come into the office on a regular basis the job will require you to travel to local Co-ops across Saskatchewan up to 70%.
Join a dynamic team driving profitable growth across HABS operations in Western Canada. As a Senior Retail Operations Advisor youll be a strategic partner to Local Co-opscoaching leaders optimizing sales and profitability and executing key initiatives aligned with FCLs HABS Vision and Strategy. From contractor center design to succession planning youll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of retail home and building.
What youll do:
- Drive budgeted sales for assigned Local Co-ops by identifying opportunities creating action plans and coaching managers on execution.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance EBITDA for priority locations through operational reviews and leadership support.
- Oversee renovations expansions and new store setups including merchandising CASM placement and grand opening coordination.
- Ensure compliance with merchandising standards store layouts and image guidelines to optimize customer experience and sales.
- Share feedback on local market conditions pricing and promotions while acting as a link between Local Co-ops and Home Office.
- Identify future leaders coordinate training programs and assist in creating long-term succession plans with HR teams.
Who youll work with:
You will work closely with Local Co-op Management to encourage full support and execution of FCL strategic initiatives and programs. You will also work with fellow Zone Lumber Operations Advisors and Zone Operations leadership to support and help implement overall location HABS operational sales and profitability objectives. You will report into the Manager HABS Operations. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration expertise and results.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Sales & Marketing and:
- Have 6-9 years of progressively responsible experience in retail management with direct exposure to hardware and/or building materials.
- Have a bachelors degree in business administration commerce or marketing (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
