Job Summary
Job Title: ESL Instructor
Location: Enid OK
Contract Duration: 14 weeks (possible extension)
Schedule:
- Mon/Wed: 4:30 PM 6:30 PM
- Thu/Fri: 4:30 PM 6:30 PM
- Tue: 12:00 PM 1:00 PM
Hours: 715 per week
Position Summary
Seeking an ESL Instructor to provide effective English instruction to adult learners in a workplace-focused environment. Responsibilities include teaching weekly ESL/ESP classes preparing materials tracking student progress and participating in required meetings or trainings.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver 610 hours/week of ESL or ESP instruction to adult learners.
- Create and adapt lesson materials to student needs.
- Maintain accurate attendance and performance records.
- Participate in meetings trainings and program-related events.
Required Qualifications
- TESOL certification.
- Native or near-native English fluency with strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of effective ESL teaching strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in English Education Linguistics or similar field.
- 3 years of adult ESL teaching experience.
- Experience with English for Specific Purposes (Business/Technical).
- Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools.
