Our client in the telecommunications sector is seeking a L1 /L2 Engineer on a contract duration of 6 months.
Essential Job Functions
- Problems/Issues/Defects Recording and Dissemination
- Diagnostics of Problems/Issues/Defects
- Ownership of Problems/Issues/Defects Ticket until Resolution
- Problems/Issues/Defects Analysis
- Follow-up and Resolve Problems/Issues/Defects within SLA
- Workaround Corrective Fixes Removal of Data Errors
- Application Maintenance
- Provide necessary Application log to L3/SME & all required support to diagnose a reported problem
- Regular Reporting on Open/In Progress/Resolved Tickets to Next Level Managers
- Pro-Active Communications (internal and external)
- Bill run execution and Support
- Deployment Support
- UAT and Post-Production testing support.
- Flexibility to work in shifts.
Required Skill Set
- Good Analytical Skills
- Knowledge on Shell scripting
- Knowledge on Rancher and Docker is an advantage.
Experience Level / Years of Experience
- 0-4 yrs
- Minimum Qualification / Education
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
- Knowledge of Service offering
- Knowledge of BSS operating procedures CRM and Billing
- Telecom Software
- BSS solutions for billing and customer care domain
- Must regularly communicate with Offshore/Onsite for Reporting Purposes and to Provide On-Time Resolution.
- Ready to travel to customer sites.
