The opportunity
As an Assistant Manager in our Business Modelling team you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality financial modelling solutions that empower clients to make confident strategic decisions. Youll work on diverse projects including:
Model Builds: Design and develop robust Excel-based business planning and forecasting models.
Model Reviews: Provide assurance and insights on complex financial models for transactions project finance and strategic evaluations.
Collaborative Projects: Partner with cross-functional teams on high-impact deals and strategic initiatives.

Your key responsibilities
Build and review complex financial models for valuation forecasting and scenario analysis.
Deliver accurate high-quality outputs aligned with EYs professional standards.
Communicate effectively within the team and contribute to client deliverables.
Support risk management processes and maintain strong attention to detail.
Demonstrate curiosity and a growth mindset challenging assumptions and improving processes.
Skills and attributes for success
Technical Expertise: Advanced Excel proficiency and strong financial modelling skills.
Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
Collaboration: Work effectively in a team environment with limited client interaction.
Professional Qualifications: CA(SA) CFA Level 1 or FMVA certification or similar are all advantageous.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in financial modelling business planning or related advisory roles.
