What you will be doing

As a Quality Trainee you will support the Engineering Department at ROCKWOOL Group Technology in the review and coordination of spare part lists for manufacturing equipment across multiple ongoing investment projects in ROCKWOOL production facilities. This role is ideal for students interested in technical documentation engineering processes and cross-functional collaboration.

You will play an active role in improving spare parts information quality and ensuring timely delivery of spare part lists.

Moreover you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing spare part lists prepared by internal engineers and external suppliers ensuring completeness accuracy and compliance with internal standards
  • Providing clear structured review comments and guidance to authors regarding required corrections or missing information
  • Tracking and monitor the progress of spare part list development and delivery across multiple projects
  • Supporting the creation and development of content within spare part lists for various engineering projects
  • Contributing to the development of the spare part review process including drafting procedures driving process execution and proposing creative improvements and optimization ideas
  • Coordinating with project engineers suppliers and other stakeholders to clarify questions and resolve documentation-related issues
  • Assisting in maintaining documentation workflows and supporting continuous process improvements

What you bring

  • Student status (preferred fields: engineering mechanical engineering industrial engineering or other related technical disciplines)
  • Interest in technical documentation machinery and production equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies or gaps in documentation
  • Willingness to understand the topic and diversity of spare parts and to develop into a subject-matter expert able to advise supervisors on potential solutions
  • Good communication skills and the ability to provide constructive clear feedback
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and manage several tasks simultaneously
  • Basic familiarity with technical terminology is an advantage
  • English proficiency (written and verbal) is preferred
