About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Senior Consultant (L3) with 810 years of total experience including strong expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and S/4HANA Public Cloud integration and extension development.
This role requires deep technical skills in BTP services CAP RAP Fiori and cloud application programming along with a strong understanding of integration and extension strategies for enterprise environments.

Role & Responsibilities

Design develop and implement SAP BTP-based solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and on-premise systems.

Develop custom business applications using CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) and RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model).

Work on BTP services such as Cloud Foundry Subaccounts Destinations Connectivity and Identity Authentication (IAS/IPS).

Build and maintain SAP Fiori/UI5 applications leveraging OData and REST APIs.

Design and implement integration scenarios using SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) API Management and Event Mesh.

Collaborate with functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Ensure application scalability security and performance optimization across cloud environments.

Participate in end-to-end implementation cycles from requirement gathering and design to deployment and post-go-live support.

Guide project teams on best practices for SAP BTP architecture ensuring compliance with governance and development standards.

Stay current with SAPs evolving BTP roadmap and bring innovative cloud ideas to ongoing projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

810 years of overall SAP experience with minimum 5 years in SAP BTP development and integration.

Hands-on experience in SAP BTP services Cloud Foundry CPI API Management Event Mesh and Launchpad Service.

Proficient in Java ABAP RESTful Programming (RAP) and CAP framework.

Strong working knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 OData services and BTP security concepts.

Expertise in integration between S/4HANA Public Cloud and third-party systems via APIs Webhooks or Events.

Deep understanding of DevOps practices in SAP BTP (e.g. GitHub Jenkins Azure DevOps).

Excellent problem-solving analytical and debugging skills.

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a global cross-functional environment.

Preferred Skills

SAP Certified Development Associate SAP BTP Extension Developer or equivalent certification.

Experience in SAP Build Apps Workflow Management or Process Automation.

Familiarity with multi-cloud environments (Azure AWS GCP) hosting SAP BTP.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline automation containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) or API lifecycle management.

Exposure to S/4HANA Public Cloud extensibility (in-app and side-by-side extensions).
