The role
As a SAP Security Analyst youll have a role thats out of the ordinary. To meet the growing business demand for our services we need to augment the team with experts who can work across multiple technologies and disciplines and deliver our high level of customer satisfaction.

Day-to-day youll be responsible for the design configuration and support of the Security and Authorisations for Babcock ERP applications (SAP Success Factors Business Technology Platform SAP IdM SAP Service Cloud SAP Field Services Solution Manager Security Weaver GRC products and other non-SAP Cloud Products).

Provide technical and configuration support in designing and build of SAP and Non-SAP authorizations and roles for all SAP (Neptune) supported systems
Develop security roles to minimize business risk and ensure clear Segregation of Duties.
Understand the business processes and applythat knowledge to develop access controls and solve user access problems.
Participatein user access requirements gathering blueprinting and documentation.
Proposealternatives based on best practices across the technologies supported

This role is full time 37.5 hours per week and can be based near our Lakeside Portsmouth site or a key Babcock hub including Bristol Plymouth London etc with hybrid working arrangements and occasional travel.

Essential experience of the SAP Security Analyst:

Extensive hands-on SAP Security support and configuration experience with more than 3 implementations
An understanding of SAP Authorisation concepts in an Enterprise environment (Single/Composite roles and role derivation)
SAP security technical skills covering the main functional areas and Basis components
Solid experienced in design and deployment of SAP Security & Authorisation solutions
Experience of supporting user access across multiple SAP modules and SAP systems (ECC S4 HANA BW Coupa Portal PO/PI Gateway)
Experience of security / authorisations and user access in SuccessFactors and other SAP / Non-SAP Cloud systems

Qualifications for the SAP Security Analyst:

A university degree or relevant experience in Security or Information Management

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
