What youll do

As a Production Technician Magnet Manufacturing you will operate and maintain press equipment used in the magnet production process. This role involves setting up running monitoring and maintaining hydraulic mechanical or pneumatic press systems to meet precise production specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience with press operations in a manufacturing environment and a strong focus on safety quality and process control.

  • Press Operation & Setup
    • Set up and operate press machines according to production specifications and work orders
    • Adjust machine settings to ensure consistent quality and dimensional accuracy
    • Load raw materials and inspect finished parts for conformance to tolerances and quality standards
    • Maintain documentation such as operational logs and routers
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting
    • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press equipment
    • Identify troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or operational issues during production
    • Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs with maintenance teams as needed
  • Safety & Compliance
    • Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE while operating machinery
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to 5S or similar workplace organization principles
    • Participate in safety audits and training sessions as required

What were looking for

  • Associates degree bachelors degree preferred
  • Experience in a collaborative production environment
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment up to 50 lb.
  • Ability to self-direct and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal prioritization and organizational skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Excel Word and PowerPoint

  • Salary: $60000 - $80000 annually depending on education experience and skills
