Job Description:
Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which includes skilled hand work microscope work or utilizing automated production equipment. Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications terms and documents. Follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring component installation and hand soldering on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to drawing specifications.
Essential Functions:
- Prolonged standing or sitting
- Ability to work repetitive and/or continuous motions tasks
- Ability to clearly read write and understand English (required)
- Good hand eye coordination
- Good manual dexterity
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Good attention to detail and quality
- Ability to multi-task
- Basic computer skills
- Read and understand drawings/blueprints/work instructions
- Ability to use chemicals and solvents (isopropyl alcohol)
- Bending stooping kneeling or crouching as necessary
- Ability to consistently hit goals i.e. daily weekly monthly
- Basic compound microscope use
