Your New Role:

• Underwrite business following the business plan and regulatory requirements.

• Support the development and delivery of the annual business plan of the department.

• Contribute to meetings to share knowledge and best practices.

• Promote the department division and company to maximise brand leverage.

• Establish and strengthen relationships with stakeholders.

• Continually develop technical knowledge and expertise.

• Cooperate with Portfolio Manager to optimize and achieve plans

• Ensure accurate recording of insurance risks and compliance with regulations.

About you:

• University degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Significant experience in underwriting marine risks (Cargo Freight Forwarders Liability) and potentially Fine Art & Specie.
• Established relationships with brokers and intermediaries.
• Understanding of QBEs risk appetite and underwriting rules for marine business.
• Good communicator and relationship builder fluent in English and Dutch.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative spirit.
