Job Summary

Due to significant growth our client a reputable waste and recycling site in Hobart and Launceston has vacancies for 2 Experienced Front Lift Drivers.

The important parts:

Day Shift.
$40.48 casual ongoing 4am to 2pm or so. Monday to Friday andSaturday 6am-10am
5 shifts a week with possibility of permanency
Must be available for full-time hours and Public Holiday work available.
Genuine prospect for full time employment with career advancement and licence upskilling What you will be required to do:
Drive HR Front Lift Garbage trucks to Commercial sites to pick waste and recyclables
Maintenance and safety checks on all equipment
Operate within a fast-paced environment
Complete repetitive tasks and movements safely and efficiently
Contribute to a team-focused workplace culture

To be successful in the role you will:

1 Plus years HR Driving Experience
Waste Industry experience desirable but not essential
Strong work ethic
This is a fast-paced and high-risk environment so your commitment to safety is paramount
Have full working rights in Australia (must be available for full-time hours)
Have access to reliable transport and the ability to get to work
Demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety and its importance in every role
