Opal Fibre Packaging ANZ manufactures cardboard box packaging solutions aligned with the circular economy to meet the needs of its customers with a focus on sustainability and innovation. We have an exciting opportunity for a Day Shift Supervisor to join the team at our Revesby site.

The key focus of this role will be to:

Lead and coordinate the production activities of the site to achieve the most effective outcome in support of the business objectives
Manage teams within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Oversee the production planning process to meet customer requirements and to optimize production efficiencies
Ensuring that SOPs are being followed through regular checks
Maintain a visible presence on the floor to ensure accessibility by employees and provide a satisfactory level of supervision
Ensure an open direct and with respect communication is practiced across the site
Drive a safety-first culture and achieve outperformance against all safety targets

For this role we would ideally like you to have:

Experience in overseeing operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across all levels
Well-developed leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach experienced team members
Experience leading/ supervising teams on a unionized site
Organisational skills - influencing problem solving strong project management and time management skills decision making goal setting and cost management
Prior experience delivering successful teams and fostering a continuous improvement environment
