Responsibilities

• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards and Toyota time guides
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment - complete multi-point inspection
• Performs advanced maintenance and repairs on vehiclesdiagnosing complex mechanical and electrical issues including engine & Transmission repairs.
• Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Executes repairs under warranty to Toyota specifications with accurate notes and pictures keeping in mind-fix it right the first time.
• Take manufacturer training to excel in diagnosis and repairof gas hybrid and electric vehicles

Qualifications

• Experience as an automotive technician with ASE certification or Mechanic with 5 years experience with some ASE certification
• Must be able to diagnose and repair withing automotive time table guidelines.
• Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent
• Problem solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues.
• Basic Computer skills
• Positive friendly attitude along with a customer service mentality
• Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail
• Team player
• Must have a valid drivers license- clean driving record
• Ability to learn new technology repairs and service procedures and specifications
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
