Job Summary and Responsibilities
Every day you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized comprehensive care making critical assessments performing skilled procedures and meticulously implementing patient care plans. - Ensures a professional and responsive atmosphere by greeting patientsvisitors staff and physicians promptly and courteously. Refers to each individual by name when appropriate.
- Performs initial assessment utilizing professional nursing knowledge and skills. Appropriately assess for: a. physical & psychosocial emotional needs b. pain level c. barriers to learning d. educational learning needs e. discharge needs f. age related needs g. issues related to assault or abuse
- Contributes to unit and department problem solving and issue resolution.
- Communicates effectively and contributes to positive unit and interdepartmental relationships.
- Maintains a professional attitude demeanor and appearance wears prescribed departmental uniform wears identification name badge.
- Arrives punctually takes appropriate time for breaks uses sick time
Job Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing and One to two years clinical nursing experience. upon hire and
- The experience requirement is waived for new Grad Nurses selected for a New Grad Orientation program. and
- Registered Nurse: CA upon hire and
- Basic Life Support - CPR upon hire and
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire
Preferred
- Bachelors Of Science Nursing upon hire
